PetroTechnik Ltd established a representative office in Beijing some time ago, this has now been upgraded to a full trading entity that manages local UPP pipe system production, for distribution in both China and regionally. PetroTechnik China is managed by Michelle Tian, who was joined last year by four new colleagues.

Michelle Tian
Michelle joined PetroTechnik in August 2007 as China manager. She has extensive experience working in the oil and gas industry and worked for 5 years with BP. She has an MBAfrom Fordham University, USA, plus degrees in Mechanicals and Finance.

David Yang
David Yang, sales director - East China had five years experience in gas station supply before joining PetroTechnik. He is married with a seven year old daughter.

Jacky Huo
Jacky Huo has joined UPP as a sales manager in China. He graduated as an engineer in 2002 and has worked in the gas station supply field for more than four years. Outside work, his interests include music, skiing, singing and travelling and he welcomes any visitor to Beijing to sample the slopes with him!

Li Yuanzheng
Before joining UPP, Li Yuanzheng, technical manager, spent six years in production and technology management in the petrochemical field and six years in plastic pipe installation technical support and training for gas station operators.

Jessie Xuan
Jessie Xuan joined PetroTechinik in July 2009 as office administrator. She has four years administrative experience with the China Business Group, Inc., an American consulting company. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, swimming and jogging.

UPP non-conductive pipe is fully approved by regulators in this huge market, having been installed initially in Shenzen in 1997 – the first polyethylene fuel pipe system to be installed in PRC. UPP non-conductive pipe is now used by all retail oil companies, ensuring that the our brand retains its no. 1 position across Asia and the world.

UPP is now in local production in four global locations at the same high-quality grade and specification, in line with company strategy to "go where the customer wants us".
