Worried about your pipeline corroding, or high operating and maintenance costs?
Typically Rheomax has lower capital costs, lower installation costs, lower maintenance costs, lower operational costs, longer life expectancy and lower replacement costs than steel- peace of mind and lower whole life cost!
Using the proven UPP technology and a typical service life of 50 years, the Rheomax brand of piping provides the perfect solution for more specialist piping applications for the conveyance of hydrocarbon based liquids or chemicals but without the disadvantages of conventional steel systems or unlined PE piping.
Rheomax is the solution for applications such as Ship Refuelling and Marinas, Aviation, Rail, Remediation, Waste, Oilfield, Mining, Fuel Storage Terminals.
Operating up to 20 bar and 60 degrees Centigrade, Rheomax is extruded using PE 100 (4710) grade polyethylene. Rheomax pipe specification includes diameters from 1” to 16” and compatibility with a wide range of hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, diesel, heavy oils, bio-fuels, methanol, ethanol, aviation & marine fuels and chemicals for safe environmental operation.
- Hydrocarbon fuel compatible with no permeation.
- UV stable for aboveground use.
No internal steel bore scale restriction or contaminants. - No external corrosion worries, costs or coatings.
- No cathodic protection costs.
- Reduced friction losses and pumping costs.
- Fast, simple, reliable Butt fusion or Electrofusion.
- Flexibility for installation.
- Full range of fittings.
- Elasticity to absorb effects of ground movement and water hammer.
- Secondary containment possible.
